Tangleboxing has concluded for 2011!
Another successful summer of Tangleboxing has concluded for 2011. Thanks to all who participated this year and we hope to see you again next year. Check back in June 2012 for information about next summer's Tangleboxing.
Important Update - For everyone who submitted thier verification pages to be entered into the prize drawing, the drawing will be held at the November Parks and Recreation Board meeting and we will post the results on this website.
Yamhill County Parks News - Over the last couple of years, the Yamhill County Parks and Recreation Board and Parks’ Staff have been working on a new park proposal for Yamhill County. This proposed park would be the first new park for the Yamhill County park system in 25 years and the 94-acres included in this proposal have excellent potential in providing opportunities for a couple of miles of multi-use trails, access to a beautiful stretch of the south fork of the Yamhill River, a small meeting hall, seasonal water trail, large areas for a variety of day use and educational activities, and possibly overnight camping facilities (NOTE: camping is not included in the current Conditional Use Proposal, as further planning and land use approval is required). If you would like to learn more, please visit www.co.yamhill.or.us/parks.
We would love to hear more about your Tangleboxing adventures and experiences - or - if you have suggestions for improving the program, please email Yamhill County Parks.

We hope to see you Tangleboxing next summer!
Important Reminders:
While you are searching for and upon finding each Tanglebox, remember that like all treasure hunts, there is an element of secrecy in this activity. Try to be discreet when opening the Tangleboxes and while stamping your passports, as to prevent disclosing the hiding spot to other Tangleboxers.
When returning the Tanglebox to its hiding spot, try to ensure that it is hidden and any disturbances that you may have created around the hiding spot is repaired/covered up.
Tangleboxes are waterproof, plastic boxes; instead of the black metal boxes from years past. All of the Tangleboxes are clearly marked with Tanglebox logos.
